Stephen Dorf, the Blade Star, says he is embarrassed for Scarlet Johansson
Commenting on Marvel’s Black Widow, he says whatever amount she got paid, it’s not worth it
Blade star Stephen Dorff has recently talked about what he thinks of Marvel’s upcoming film, Black Widow. He thinks this movie looks like a bad video game and said he is embarrassed for Scarlet Johansson.
What did Dorff say about the movie?
Dorff talked unfiltered about his feelings on Black Widow and how he is embarrassed for Johansson even though he is sure she got paid five or seven million dollars for playing in this movie. He also said he does not want to be a part of these movies of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
He says he doesn’t want to be in Black widow, and it’s a sign that he still has a taste in distinguishing good stuff. He believes this movie is a garbage and it looks like a bad video game; then adds that he is embarrassed for people who participated in making this movie, including Scarlet Johansson knowing that she got paid something about five or seven million bucks for this. He announced that he doesn’t want to be in these movies and prefers to act for a young director with a good taste and future whom nobody knows and may turn out as the next Kubrick!
Dorff’s negative comment on Oscars
Dorff also talked about the Oscars and said it was the most embarrassing thing he has ever seen. He cracked through puffs of an e-cigarette that this year’s Oscars has been the most embarrassing thing he has ever seen. He thinks that his business is changing to a big game show. There are actors that don’t know what they are doing, and filmmakers who don’t have a clue what they are doing he says, and adds that they are are all in some little boxes on these streamers and nowadays, TV and films are like a big cluster of content to him.
Does everybody think the same?
Dorff’s comments were followed by similar frustrations with the Marvel Cinematic Universe by people like Lou Ferrigno, the actor who played the role of Hulk, and was disappointed in the level of computer graphics used in films such as Avengers: Endgame.
Soon, everyone can be able to make their own judgments on the movie Black Widow, since it is set to debut on Disney+ with premier access, and in theaters on July 9.
