The Razer Viper Ultimate Cyberpunk 2077 Edition mouse review

The Razer Viper Ultimate is a wonderful mouse. It’s very versatile and can handle almost anything you expect a good gaming mouse to do. The performance is excellent and the latency is very low in both wired and wireless versions. The Razer Viper Ultimate Cyberpunk 2077 Edition mouse has an ambidextrous design. There are two side buttons on each side, that give the player various programmable options. When you keep it in your hand, this mouse with a low back and rather short body feel durable, well-built, and remarkably comfortable. Being small in size makes it better for those who have a large hand and like a fingertip grip, along with those who have small and medium-sized hands and are comfortable with a palm or a claw grip. The Razer Viper Ultimate comes with a unique charging station which is also a receiver range extender that helps better performance.

If you like to have a palm grip and your hands are not small or medium, it won’t work for you.

The Razer Viper Ultimate review: style

This mouse has a fairly aggressive style, which gives the player a nice, high-end gaming feel. The logo at the back of the Razer Viper Ultimate is RGB-lit. It has an ambidextrous design and a low back. This gaming mouse comes with a charging cradle.

The Razer Viper Ultimate review: portability

The unique design of this gaming mouse makes it quite portable. Not being too high, the mouse can be easily tossed in a laptop bag, and having a receiver storing slot under makes it quite easy to bring it around without having the clutter of a cable.

The Razer Viper Ultimate review: mouse feet

The virgin grade PTFE-made feet of this gaming mouse are incredible. They provide a very smooth gliding experience whether you use them on a desk or on a mousepad. The thickness of the feet is pretty standard, but their shape is not as round as other mice.

The Razer Viper Ultimate review: the comfort of use

This mouse is very comfortable. Its true ambidextrous design includes two side buttons on each side of the mouse. The buttons are slightly further back on the mouse, which makes them more reachable than many other gaming mouses. Not having a high back, it’s good for a fingertip grip, but not the best for bigger hands with a palm grip.

The Razer Viper Ultimate review: build quality

One thing that was not great about the Razer Viper Ultimate gaming mouse is that the left and right buttons squeak when you press them all the way down.

Other than that, the build quality is great. Although the mouse is very lightweight and all the parts are made out of plastic, it gives a durable and well-built feel. The buttons squeak when you press them all the way down. It might be a result of optical switches, but the clicks on this mouse feel sturdy and slightly different than what you get on most mice.
